1. MANAGER: HUMAN RESOURCES AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPIRIENCE
·
B Degree in Human Resources Management /
Industrial Psychology / Business Administration / Public Management (NQF Level
7). Honours Degree will be an added advantage.
·
Minimum five (5) years relevant working experience
in Payroll, general Human Resources and Corporate Affairs functions.
·
Code B Valid Driver’s License
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
·
A sound working knowledge of Management of Corporate
Affairs and Human Resources Department
·
Administration and Support services; Human
Resources Management; Corporate secretarial functions;
·
Marketing and Public Relations as well as
Budgeting and Budget control for the Department.
2. PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPIRIENCE
·
Diploma in Media; Journalism or Marketing (NQF
Level 6)
·
Minimum two (2) years relevant working experience.
·
Code B Valid Driver’s License
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
·
Incumbent must possess strong verbal
communication, writing and editing skills.
·
Responsible for effective institutional
communication, Public Relations and marketing of Rehoboth Town Council.
·
Provides public relations administrative
services to Council by co-ordinating activities to ensure harmonious
interaction.
3. COUNCIL SUPPORT OFFICER (ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPIRIENCE
·
Diploma in Secretarial Studies / Office Management
plus two (2) years relevant working experience or Grade 12 plus five (5) years
relevant working experience.
·
Computer Literate, Typing Skills.
Key Performance Areas:
·
Secretarial duties; Typing Services; General
administration; Minute taking during meetings; Execution of agendas,
invitations and minutes.
4. LEASE AND TOWNLOAND ADMINISTRATOR
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPIRIENCE
·
Diploma in Land Management/Administration at NQF
Level 6
·
Two (2) years relevant experience in Land
Administration and Community Development related work.
·
Code B Valid Driver’s License
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
·
Administrating, lease and substitution of leases
in the Local Authority area;
·
Lease, manage, supervise and inspect town lands
·
Control Fixed assets
·
Wild and stray animal control
·
Act as Peace officer and undertake
administrative task
5. ELECTRICIAN
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPIRIENCE
·
Trade Diploma (Level 3) in General Electrical,
with two (2) years relevant working experience
·
Code B Valid Driver’s License
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
·
Inspections;
·
Meter Readings;
·
Planning and Maintenance of Networks;
·
Electricity connections;
·
Repair of Overhead Lines;
·
Supervision of staff;
·
Planning and Budgeting for the Division.
